The MAP Generation Pro Feeder Rod is a new range of rods MAP that offer outstanding quality for the money. Available in a range of sizes, these feeder rods are incredibly versatile so can be used on a wide range of venues from commercial carp fishing to river fishing.

These MAP feeder rods have been made using the latest in carbon technology. MAP have used 30T carbon to create a much slimmer, lightweight fishing rod blank, which improves the overall performance and action of this rod range. By using 30T carbon on these feeder rods, the action of these fishing rods offers the perfect blend of balance to the overall rod action and also creates an incredible through action that eliminates lost fish at the net. The action of these MAP Generation Pro Feeder Rods still allows you to cast accurately at distance with feeders due to a fast taper in the lower section of the blank.

MAP have used quality Sea-Guide guides on these feeder fishing rods which help to keep the rod lightweight in the hand but also allows your fishing line whether it be mono fishing line or braided fishing line to flow freely through the guides when casting. A DPS down locking reel seat with EVA top grip allows you to use a range of fishing reels with these feeder fishing rods. The handle is constructed using a quality cork armlock and an EVA rear/bottom grip which offers the optimum grip when casting and playing fish.  The MAP Generation Pro Feeder Rods are supplied with three quiver tips, size depending each model, with each quiver tip designed to be used perfectly with each feeder rod, which improves its overall performance and eliminates any flat spots where it meets the carrier section. For easy transport and storage, these feeder rods break down into 2 pieces and are supplied with a rod bag.

MAP Generation Pro 9ft Feeder Fishing Rod

The shortest feeder rod in the MAP Generation Pro range. This is the ideal feeder fishing rod for short range feeder fishing or fishing the bomb. It features a very soft and progressive action that is ideal for controlling hard fishing carp on commercials, and will handle F1s through to hard fighting double figure carp. This two-piece blank action is incredible, and features a through Parabolix type of action where the fishing rod doesn’t lock up. The 9ft MAP Generation Pro comes supplied with three high grade quiver tips in 0.5oz, 0.75oz and 1oz. Casting weight 30g.

MAP Generation Pro 10ft Feeder Fishing Rod

Possibly the best length to be used on commercials, this is a true all-rounder that is suited for medium feeder / bomb fishing. Having a casting weight of 40g its ideal for method or hybrid style feeder fishing. Featuring a two-piece blank that offers a Parabolix through action that doesn’t lock up, making it the perfect tool for those big hard fighting carp on commercials. This is a very versatile feeder rod that will cover most of your commercial fishing needs. The MAP 10ft Generation Pro comes supplied with three high grade quiver tips in 0.5oz, 0.75oz and 1.5oz. Casting weight 40g.

A very versatile feeder fishing rod that will cover a lot of fishing situations from commercials, still waters and rivers. It’s the perfect tool for medium feeder fishing and features a soft through action that makes it so versatile. It’s at home targeting most fish from chub and bream on rivers, to double figure carp on commercials, it’s that versatile. The action is once again very soft, having a Parabolix anti-lock action that’s ideal when targeting bigger fish and having a casting weight of 50g helps with the accuracy when casting those feeders exactly where you want them to go. MAP Generation Pro 12ft Feeder Fishing Rod

The longest feeder rod within the feeder range, and one that offers incredible versatility. This is the rod for all your medium to long range feeder fishing situations, or on rivers where you need to keep the line up in the air. It features a soft progressive action, but also has increased strength in the butt section, improving casting distance and accuracy. It makes a brilliant feeder fishing rod for natural venues when targeting bream, or when you need to that extra length to get a method feeder close to Irelands on larger commercials. The 12ft Generation Pro comes supplied with three high grade quiver tips in 0.5oz, 0.75oz and 1.5oz. Casting weight 70g
